We are so excited about your interest in joining the Bodies in Motion Team!

We believe that all athletes deserve to treat their bodies with positivity, appreciation, and compassion. A healthy body image is, after all, linked to psychological well-being, healthy eating and exercising, and better performances. We designed Bodies in Motion to meet athletes’ unique needs based on decades of research and informed by our personal sport involvement and applied sport psychology practice. By joining the Bodies in Motion Team, you will be working to develop and support a sport culture that is defined by a healthy body image and positive well-being.

Bodies in Motion is an evidence-based program that combines the effective components of traditional interventions with contemporary psychological approaches and mechanisms for long term impact. In this website, we provide the information you will need to fully understand the BIM program and its positive effects and make an informed decision about bringing BIM to your school for the benefit of all your athletes. Please take your time in reviewing all sections of the website and, if you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Dr. Petrie at Trent.Petrie@unt.edu.

We look forward to working with you, your school, and your athletes!

Sincerely,

Your Bodies in Motion Co-Developers
